Audiobooks narrated by Peter Kenny

Enormous character range, and the voice most English-language listeners hear as Geralt. His Dandelion is worth the credit on its own. He also reads Iain M. Banks, which is a very different register.

The Witcher

Andrzej Sapkowski · 9 books · read throughout by Peter Kenny. Not publication order. Start with the two short-story collections — The Last Wish then Sword of Destiny — because the novels assume you already know those stories. The last two entries are both out-of-sequence additions written long after the saga finished: Season of Storms sits chronologically early, and Crossroads of Ravens is earlier still — a prequel to everything, with a young Geralt just out of Kaer Morhen. Both are written for people who already know him, so listen to them last however tempting the timeline looks.
