The Inheritance Cycle audiobooks in order
Eragon and its sequels, read by Gerard Doyle. Written when Paolini was a teenager and it shows early on, but the series grows up considerably as it goes.
Which order should you listen in?
Publication order. Note Murtagh (2023) is a standalone set after the main cycle rather than a fifth book, so finish Inheritance first. Check the narrator on the later titles before buying — the cycle was recorded years before Murtagh was written.
