Audiobooks narrated by Martin Shaw
Doyle in The Professionals, and later Judge John Deed and George Gently. His Silmarillion is the older complete reading on this site's comparison, beside Andy Serkis's. His Hobbit is an abridgement, and so are his Hardy, Wuthering Heights and Ken Follett readings: check the runtime. A different Martin Shaw, the mythologist and storyteller, also reads on the UK store; his books are not these.

Recordings featuring Martin Shaw
A selection from Martin Shaw’s Audible UK catalogue, not the whole of it: 8 titles, with the type column saying what kind of recording each one is. Checked against the UK store; lengths are as the store gives them.
Watch the type column. 7 of these are abridged — a shortened text, not the whole book, for the same credit. Why that keeps happening →
