Which After the Funeral recording should you buy?
The novel read once in full, a Collins retelling for English learners under the same plain title — and a different book called After the Funeral, a collection of short stories by another writer, in the same search.

Short answer
Hugh Fraser, the only complete reading of the novel on Audible UK. Roger May's listing is a Collins graded reader for people learning English: same title, a bare "B2" on the line beneath it, and a description that says it is for English language learners. The other After the Funeral, read by Abigail Thaw, is Tessa Hadley's book of short stories — a good book and nothing to do with Poirot, so check the byline.
The recordings, compared
| Narrator | Length | Type | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hugh Fraser Our pick | 6 hrs 55 mins | Complete novel | The complete novel, solo. |
| Roger May | 3 hrs 47 mins | Collins graded reader (B2) | NOT the novel: a Collins graded reader for people learning English, 55% of the complete reading. Plain title, "B2" on the line beneath it. |
| Abigail Thaw | 6 hrs 31 mins | Different book, same title | NOT Christie. Tessa Hadley's After the Funeral, a collection of short stories, under the same title and at a similar length. The byline is the only warning. |
