Which Death in the Clouds recording should you buy?
Under the same title: the novel read in full, a BBC radio play, and a Collins retelling for English learners whose only label is a code on the line beneath the title.

Short answer
Hugh Fraser, the only complete reading of the novel here. The BBC edition with John Moffatt and Philip Jackson is a radio play, and a short one. Roger May's listing is the trap: a Collins graded reader for people learning English, with a plain title and "Level 5, B2+" on the line beneath it, running a fraction of Fraser. Its description, which opens by saying it is for English language learners, is the confirmation.
The recordings, compared
| Narrator | Length | Type | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hugh Fraser Our pick | 6 hrs 18 mins | Complete novel | The complete novel, solo. |
| Full cast with John Moffatt, Philip Jackson | 1 hr 27 mins | BBC full-cast dramatisation | A BBC radio play. The title does not say so. |
| Roger May | 3 hrs 35 mins | Collins graded reader (Level 5, B2+) | NOT the novel: a Collins graded reader for people learning English, 57% of the complete reading. The title is plain; the level sits on the line beneath it. |
