Which Peril at End House recording should you buy?
The novel is sold beside a BBC radio play and two Collins retellings for English learners by the same reader — one labelled in its web address, the other with nothing in its title, web address or page heading to say what it is, and only a bare "B2" beneath the title.

Hugh Fraser for the novel: complete, and read by the actor who played Hastings on television. The BBC production with John Moffatt is a radio play. The two Roger May listings are the trap. Both are Collins graded readers for people learning English, and their descriptions are word for word the same. One has B2 and Collins ELT Readers in its web address. The other is sold as plain Peril at End House in its title, its web address and its page heading, at a different length; a bare "B2" on the line under the title and its description are all that give it away.
